Fall/Winter makeup trend: YSL inspired Fuchsia look

Here is a look inspired by fuchsia makeup as spotted at Yves Saint Laurent FALL/WINTER 2010-2011 show.

Read post on Fall/Winter makeup trends HERE.

I’ve picked up the eyeshadow style (till above the crease), winged eyeliner and coordinated eye and lip color from this look but instead of a matte eyeshadow , I’ve used a frost one (MAC cranberry) to create a evening party look.

  3. Your makeup is looking very gorgeous.Winged eye make up is giving a different look to your face.

I like the detailed tutorial which can be followed easily .I also like the colours u have used as they seem to be suitiable for Indian skins .These makeup items are available in India – so following your tutorial is easy and do able.
Keep up the good work !!

  4. Hi, Nice article. How similar or different is rosy nude lipstick from the MAC cosmo lipstick?

  5. Thanks AD! Rosy nude is a brownish pink whereas MAC Cosmo is cooler pink(with blue undertones) as compared to Rosy nude. Rosy nude is an easier shade to pull off with medium/dusky skin tones whereas Cosmo looks better on people with fair/fair-medium skin tones. I am NC 37/40 and Cosmo alone did not look so good on me but paired with MAC lip liner in ‘Soar’ as base, it looked good. You can see how this combo looks on my post here :
    Hope this helps!

  6. I really like the name of your blog…coralistaa..hehe…been wanting to try benefit coralista for ages..pretty look
