Spring/Summer look#8 : Shimmery olive green eye makeup FOTD
Hi everyone!
Today I’m doing a shimmery olive green eye makeup look using VOV loose powder eye shadow.
I spotted this beauty at New Beauty Centre, Khar (Mumbai) retailing at Rs 75 and picked up 2 shades- an olive green and a copper shade.
Here’s the look I’ve done using the olive green shade.
Summary of the look –
On a well moisturized face, apply foundation and set it with compact/loose powder. For the eyes, prime the lid and then apply dark brown pencil on outer corner , crease and smudge. Apply shimmery olive green eyeshadow over the lid and matte brown in the outer corner, crease and blend. Apply highlight shade on browbone and inner corners, dark brown pencil on lower lash line and finish with mascara. For the cheeks, apply matte brown/earthy pink blush. Apply a reddish brown lipstick on the lips and top it with clear or nude gloss.

Ankita, Green looks awesome on your eyes colour. Be it teal green, olive green, any shade of green just looks beautiful and bring out the green colour in your eyes. And you are looking gorgeous as always 🙂
Thank you so much Eesha 🙂 ! I am quite fond of greens and I’m glad you liked it. The green of my eyes is cos of lenses though, my natural color is dark brown.
Wow luvd d olive shimmery eye makeup..:) wil surely try this
Thanks Miss S 🙂 Try it out let me know how it turns out!
wow ankita!the green here is just like that forest green duo by oriflame
n vow i mean wow vov has pigments too
great for trial purpose
how much does it cost n where to get it
Glad you liked it Neha. I’ve not seen the Oriflame duo but this color is beautiful. The pigment is quite decent quality and the quantity is also quite a lot (7.5 g). I purchased it for Rs 75 at New Beauty Centre, Khar.
wow I like greens on you! how is the MAC primer btw?
Thank you 😛 MAC Primer is really good. I find my MAC Studio fix fluid oxidizes a bit on me and gives a darkish appearance, also accentuating my pores. But with primer underneath, it looks much better.
really??? review it na! I wanted to get it.. 😛
Okay 🙂
