Small MAC haul : Painterly paint pot and Soft brown eyeshadow EOTD
Hi everyone!
I’d been wanting these two products since a long time and finally got these yesterday. Here is a simple eye makeup I did with it.
Products used:
1. MAC Paint pot ‘Painterly’
2. MAC Eyeshadow ‘Soft brown’
3. Colorbar I-glide pencil ‘Cocobar’
4. MAC Smolder
5. MAC select moisture cover concealer NC 45.5
6. Maybelline colossal volume mascara
Steps:
This is super simple everyday eye makeup.
1. Apply paint pot Painterly all over lid. Apply ‘soft brown’ eyeshadow all over it and blend in crease with compact.
2. Apply brown eye pencil on upper lash line, kohl on waterline.
3. Conceal under eye area, set with compact.
4. Finish off with mascara.
I applied paint pot with fingers first and it looked very patchy and frankly quite horrible. I wiped that off with cleanser and then tried with a random brush and it came out better without any patchiness but still not perfect. Β Guess I need more practice to get comfortable in its application.
Painterly is a soft beige color with a pink undertone and soft brown is a light brown with an orange undertone and together they give a neutral eye and also brighten up the eyes.

u looking gr8 wit this neutral look ankita…
Thanks Pavani π
Nice haul. You should have taken a look at Rubenesque. You would have been totally in love with it. Isnt soft brown too light?
Thanks Esha π I wanted a base for eyeshadows so I picked Painterly. I’ve seen swatches of Rubenesque and it looks gorgeous! Soft brown is perfect for a neutral everyday look – all over the lid or for blending darker shades. I thought it’ll look like I’m not wearing any eye shadow but it does show up and looks quite nice π
U carry tis luk so well Ankita π gorgeous as always π
Thank you Shweta π
hey saw ur goodies on the sunday bazaar , just wanted to know what courier service are u using. i intend to sell homemade lipbalms at the bazaar if everything goes well. and i think i am going to ask you all kind of stupid doubts. hope u dont mind.
also love this look for how subtle it is. eye makeup that looks like it is not there is just super…
I don’t mind at all Supriya π I’ll be using DTDC courier service. Its the cheapest one around my place (but not cheap enough!). I’d hoped for something around Rs 50 but this is charging Rs 80. I think that is one of the reasons I didn’t sell much stuff. All the best with ur goodies! Try and find a cheaper courier so that more people are encouraged to buy your items.
hey me liked the painterly on you…..and main to haul ke baare mein comment bhi nahi kar sakti …u know why π
Hhahaa!! π π
Cool eye shadow.. π
Thanks Gauri π
