Hi everyone!

Steps:

1. After applying moisturizer and allowing to sink into the skin for 7-10 min, I applied the Bourjois lip/cheek stain on the apples of the cheeks and blended it using fingers.

2. Next, I applied Lotus spray sunscreen all over face and neck.

3. Since the sunscreen is slightly sticky in texture I skipped liquid/cream foundation and applied L’oreal true match minerals powder all over the face and neck.

Evening wear look with MAC Siahi and Colorbar Warm palette

Hi everyone!

This is a blue-dark grey smokey eye makeup that I tried today using MAC Siahi and dark grey shade ‘mystery’ from Colorbar warm palette.

This is definitely an evening wear makeup look. With the smokey eyes I have paired a pink lipstick with a ruby red-pink gloss and peach blush on the cheeks with a little bronzer on the cheekbones.

Summary of look :

On a well moisturized face, apply concealer, foundation , set with powder, apply peach blush on cheeks with light hand (since the eyes and lips are a little dramatic) and finish off with a little bronzer on the cheekbones. For the eyes, using MAC Siahi as base, apply taupe-dark grey shade on the outer half of lid and build up Siahi on inner half, blend at crease with dark brown eye shadow, (kajal) and lower lash line(with siahi)line water line (upper lash line- optional). Pair with medium pink lipstick and ruby red-pink gloss.

This is the finished look :

Products used for the eyes :

1. BeYu eye base

2. MAC Siahi

3. Colorbar warm palette (taupe-dark grey shade)

4. Maybelline chai latte quad (dark brown shade- crease, brow filler)

5.MAC Naked pigment (brow bone highlight, inner corner, tear duct )

6. Lotus Herbals kajal

7. Maybelline colossal volume mascara

Steps:

1. Prime eyes with eye primer. Apply Siahi as base on lid and smudge.

2.Apply dark grey shade on outer half of lid, build up siahi on inner half. Since Siahi is gel based, blending is difficult at the crease and socket.

3. Blend out the crease and outer corner with dark brown eyeshadow and loose powder.

4. Apply browbone highlight shade and blend with crease.

5. Apply kajal and smudge on lower lash line. Apply Siahi on lower lash line with angular brush. I have skipped lining the upper lash line.

6. Apply highlight shade on inner corners.

7. Finish the look with a coat of mascara.

Pink blue eye makeup with MAC Siahi and MAC Cranberry

Hi everyone!

This is a look I tried today with MAC Siahi and MAC Cranberry eyeshadow. Previous look of my Spring/Summer Look Book was Look #3 Pink Purple eye makeup with matching lips.

MAC Siahi from the Mickey Contractor collection proved to be one the most popular products from the collection. Less than a month after its release, Siahi had been sold out in most stores but luckily I found it tucked away in a MAC store in Shoppers’ Stop.

MAC Siahi

Here is a summary of the look:

On a well moisturized face, apply light foundation and pink blush on the apples of the cheeks. On primed eyes, apply MAC Siahi (base  and outer half of lid) and apply MAC Cranberry(inner half of lid) and Liner (MAC Siahi). Pair this eye makeup with deep pink/fuchsia lips for a dramatic look or softer pink lipstick for a toned down look.

5. Bourjois Kohl and Contour pencil #81 (waterline)

6. Maybelline colossal volume mascara

Steps :

1. Prime eyes with an eye primer.

2. Apply Siahi all over lid as base and smudge.

3. Apply Cranberry eyeshadow on inner half of lid and build up Siahi on outer half. Blending would be a little difficult since its a gel liner and powder eye shadow but the combination of cranberry with siahi looks great!

4. Apply Siahi or a darker blue liner on water line. I have used Bourjois Kohl and Contour pencil #81. It is a darker, blacker version of Siahi. Smudge it a little on the lower lash line with third finger or smudging brush.

5. Liner upper lash line with Siahi.  Wing out the ends and finish off with a coat of mascara.
